Tegallalang Rice Terrace, Ubud
After visiting several tourist attractions in Ubud this time the destination I chose was Tegallalang Rice Terrace. This place is one of the most popular destinations in Bali. The beauty of the terraced rice fields and the natural beauty of Ubud Bali make this place’s name worldwide and often visited by tourists from various countries. Therefore, it is not surprising that this place has become a mandatory destination in Bali.

Location of Tegeallalang Rice Terrace
This rice terrace is located on Jl. Raya Tegallalang, Tegallalang, Kec. Tegallalang, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali 80561. This place is located on the Tegallalang highway, Tegallalang village, Gianyar district. The time to get here is about 20 minutes from Ubud. During my trip to Tegallalang, I encountered many souvenir shops on either side of the road. Oh yes, I chose to come here early in the morning because I often see travel vloggers and photographers capturing this place in the morning with very beautiful camera results. Therefore, it is not surprising that the name of this place has become worldwide.
The Beauty of the Tegalalalng Rice Terraces in the Morning
Not long after arriving at the location I parked the motorbike on the side of the road. Then find a way in and start walking down the stairs to reach the rice terrace area. In the morning the atmosphere of the rice fields here is very cool, beautiful, with the fresh air adding to the freshness of the mind. In the morning, I still rarely meet tourists, only a few foreign tourists visit, so that adds to the calm and beautiful impression of this place.
The condition of the track is quite steep, slippery, and watery, guys, so you have to be careful and also prepare your energy while visiting here. In addition to the expanse of rice fields, there are several instagrammable photo spots here. Some have to pay, some are free. In addition, in the upper area there are farmers who carry rice poles that you can take pictures with. When in the upper area you can also see the view of the cafes around the Tegallalang highway.
There are some tips for those of you who want to visit this rice terrace:
1. Bring a drink so you don’t get dehydrated during the trip
2. Don’t forget to wear comfortable footwear, better to wear shoes
3. Bring a change of clothes if you want to get wet
4. Prepare your stamina because the journey down and up the stairs is quite tiring
5. Be careful every step because the road is slippery
That’s my story about the Tegallalang Rice Terrace. If you visit Bali don’t hesitate to come here.. Thank you
