Pandawa Beach Bali
Welcome back guys, come back to my blog with another article and I hope you are in good health and don’t forget to exercise. In this article, I want to write about the tourist destinations I have visited in Bali. This destination is a favorite for domestic tourists, but not infrequently many foreign tourists also visit this place. The place that I will discuss this time is Pandawa beach which is located in South Kuta Bali.

Location and Access to Pandawa Beach
Pandawa Beach is located in the South Kuta area where there are lots of beautiful beach tourist destinations. The location is on Jl. Pandawa Beach, Kutuh, Kec. Kuta Sel., Badung Regency, Bali. In addition, this beach is still on the same coastline with Melasti beach, Greenbowl beach, Timbis beach and Gunung Payung beach so you can have a marathon of beach tourism in this area. Furthermore, to go to this beach from the Kuta area, you can go through the By Pass Ngurah Rai road then head to Jalan Raya Uluwatu. Apart from that, you can also take the Bali Mandara toll road and then take the Dharmawangsa road.
To enter this beach area, tourists are charged an entrance fee of IDR 8,000 for domestic tourists and IDR 15,000 for foreign tourists. I got this price when I visited in 2016 and visited in 2018. Meanwhile, parking fees are charged at IDR 5,000 for cars and IDR 2,000 for motorbikes.
Pandawa Beach Tourist Attraction in Bali
Apart from providing white sand, Pandawa Beach has a variety of tourist attractions, starting from the statue of the Five Pandawa Knights, canoeing, relaxing on beach chairs, shopping for souvenirs, and playing paragliding on the Timbis hill. After paying for the entrance ticket, you will pass through the street where on the left there are statues of the Five Pandavas which became the forerunner of the name Pandawa beach. However, visitors are actually prohibited from stopping in this area because it will hinder traffic. At that time, my friends and I stopped and stepped aside to take pictures for a while.
Entering the parking area, you can see lots of cars and buses of tourists visiting this beach. In fact, I have visited this beach three times and I have never seen this beach empty of tourists. The parking area is also very large and can probably accommodate up to hundreds of vehicles. The parking area with the beach is also not too far away, only a few tens of meters. Pandawa Beach has a fairly long coastline and the waves are not too big so it is still relatively safe to play on the shoreline. Many children play in the sand, swim and canoe in the middle of the beach.
In the past, I also rented a canoe to play for 1 hour at a cost of IDR 50,000, but it’s a shame because in the middle of the sea I don’t have the courage to take out my camera, so there’s no documentation. For those of you who can’t swim, don’t worry because every canoe rental includes a life jacket. Apart from playing in the water, you can also relax by renting beach chairs, which are numerous along this beach.
Many Food and Souvenir Sellers on Pandawa Beach
Apart from having a nature tour on this beach, you don’t need to be afraid of hunger or thirst because along the beach there are many food and drink sellers. I think this beach is more friendly to tourists because there are already many supporting facilities available when compared to some beaches in Bali which are still quiet. Not only that, you can also shop for souvenirs on this beach because there are also many sellers of Balinese souvenirs who open selling stands.
That’s all my article about Pandawa beach tourism in South Kuta Bali. So there’s nothing wrong if you plan a vacation to this beach as soon as the pandemic ends. Hopefully Indonesian tourism can grow again and get even better.
